Strategic priorities and future directions of the Csomay Center are guided by an interdisciplinary Leadership Team with representation from across the University of Iowa. The Csomay Center Leadership Team includes individuals from the College of Nursing, the College of Public Health, the Center for Advancement, the Tippie College of Business, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the College of Law, the Carver College of Medicine, and the College of Dentistry.

Harleah Buck, PhD, RN, FPCN, FAHA, FAAN
Dr. Leah Buck is the Sally Mathis Hartwig Professor of Gerontological Nursing and Director of the Barbara and Richard Csomay Center for Gerontological Nursing at the University of Iowa. Her signature program of research focuses on heart failure patient and informal caregiver dyads using non-pharmacologic interventions to improve treatment adherence. Her experience includes 14 funded studies totaling 12.5 million dollars, serving on five NIH review panels (most recently BMHO and NRCS), and as an external grant reviewer for universities and foundations.
