Jennifer Jones, MHS-PH
Jen Jones, MHS-PH serves as the Outreach, Education, and Programming Coordinator for the Csomay Center for Gerontological Excellence at the University of Iowa. In this role, she leads community engagement efforts that promote the well-being of older adults and their caregivers, drawing on her background in public health and collaborative program development. Jen works to expand access to aging-related resources, strengthen community partnerships, and advance education that supports quality of life in both urban and rural settings.
A dynamic public speaker and skilled connector, Jen brings enthusiasm, insight, and a people-centered approach to her work. As a proud member of the sandwich generation, she offers a valuable perspective on caregiving and intergenerational support. Prior to joining the University of Iowa, she served as Director of Development for Memorial Hospital Foundation, supporting a critical access hospital, and as Coordinator for the West Central Illinois Area Health Education Center, where she expanded student opportunities in rural healthcare settings and advanced early workforce development efforts.
