Graduate Students
Geri Hall Clinical Leader in Residence Program
The Geri Hall Clinical Leader in Residence program was established in 2023 to support leadership development for DNP students in the College of Nursing. Students in this role lead projects focused on interprofessional collaboration, innovation, and community partnerships with the priority of maintaining and updating the Geri Hall Progressively Lowered Stress Threshold (PLST) Model Repository.
Summer PhD Intern
Established in 2023, the Csomay Center's Summer PhD Intern position is designed to provide a valuable learning experience in gerontology. Students in this role provide a wide range of operational and administrative support duties while gaining leadership, student engagement, and research experience.
Research Residencies
We have hosted graduate students for semester-long research residencies, allowing them to apply the skills they are learning in courses to real Center problems and questions.
Undergraduate Students
Csomay Summer Scholars
We partner with the Office of Undergraduate Research to offer summer research experiences for undergraduate students. Students are matched with faculty mentors conducting research related to older adults.
Applications are typically accepted March-April.
Young Gerontological Nurse Clinician Program (YGNC)
A 1-3 year mentored program for undergraduate nursing students interested in a career in gerontological nursing.
