The Csomay Center is stepping forward once again for the 3rd year in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This year, our commitment deepens as we aim to spotlight not only the prevention and reduction of dementia risk factors but also emphasize the vital aspect of brain health for caregivers. Artist and teacher Laurie Zaiger will discuss how she teaches technique and structure while nurturing each student's artistic voice. She will tell us what happens in an art classroom and the impact it has on the student and the teacher.

Dr. Lynn Curry embodies the Hawkeye spirit through leadership and giving back. Honored as one of the Eight Over 80 awardees, his career as a dentist has been defined by generosity and leadership. As a mentor and educator, Curry continues to inspire future dental professionals, reflecting his lifelong commitment to service and education within the Hawkeye community.
